Bitcoin can now be used to Purchase Property in Colombia

• La Haus, a Colombian real estate platform, is allowing citizens to use Bitcoin to buy Real Estate.  

La Haus, a Colombian real estate platform, has provided an opportunity for Bitcoin investors to buy Real estate by using Bitcoin. To commence this initiative, a new housing project is being started at Santa Marta, called Natura City.     

La Haus has formed a partnership with the OpenNode payment processor organization. Now the users will be able to pay for the property via Lightning network or on-chain, depending upon the requirements of the buyer. The buyer will have the option to either pay the complete value of the property in Bitcoin or he could pay some proportion of the value in Bitcoin and the rest by traditional means. 

The cost of each apartment is estimated to be around 400 million Colombian Pesos or 2.19 Bitcoin.
