$200M Funds Expanded To $500M by Crypto.com

Synopsis

“Crypto.com Capital, a Singapore-based crypto exchange, announced the expansion of its $200 million funds to $500 million.”

The newly hired General Partner, Jon Russell based in Bangkok, recently informed that the fund will be used to make seed and series-A deals, typically up to a $10 million check for series-A.

The focus of the fund will be to invest in gaming, DeFi, and NFTs. According to Russell, the fund will also be used to grow the overall crypto ecosystem, and it’s not all about making investments. As the companies in which crypto.com will invest, won’t necessarily get enlisted on the crypto.com exchange.

Even though Russell is based in Bangkok, and the fund is in Singapore, it will be used globally.
